MY BREAST CANCER SUPPORT

  

My Breast Cancer Support works to alleviate the emotional and financial distress of local breast cancer patients and their families. We provide patients tangible basic needs so they can focus on their treatments.

With your help, we will supply gift cards to our hospital-based Hope Chests so all patients can get groceries for their families and have transportation to get to treatment. Your donations will also bolster our Patient Assistance funds to make sure that patients have heating fuel, running cars, and a roof over their heads, so they can focus on getting better.  We provide household assistance (groceries, repairs, cleaning), help with living expenses (gas cards, utility bills, heating oil, rent/mortgage, car payments), complimentary wellness (comforting gifts, health programs, lymphedema massage), travel scholarships (breast cancer conferences, retreats) and more, so that patients can breathe a little bit easier during what is often the hardest time of their lives.

This year, we have an anonymous donor who will MATCH the first $5,000 donated on NH Gives 2025!

Who We Are

Every year, we help hundreds of women living in the Greater Seacoast areas of NH and Southern ME when they face a breast cancer diagnosis. We provide financial & emotional support to help them "stay afloat" as they go through treatment!

My Breast Cancer Support helps patients with care packages at diagnosis containing: a journal filled with local cancer resources that is great for taking notes at appointments, a scarf for use as a head covering, a water bottle to stay hydrated during treatment and more. We also offer Hope Chests at our eight partnering cancer centers supplied with gas, grocery and family outing gift cards. For patients and families needing more support, we offer assistance grants to help cover living expenses, household assistance, wellness programs and more.
