 The New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery has been a peaceful and honorable resting place for veterans and their eligible dependents for over two decades. More than 17,000 deserving individuals and their families have found solace in the natural beauty of the cemetery.

• Preserving Serenity: Successfully mitigated traffic noise from Route 3 to maintain a peaceful environment for reflection.

• Educating the Next Generation: Partnered with local schools to bring history to life through the Heritage Learning Center, the 20 Points of History, and the Memorial Walkway.

Our Mission & Legacy

For over 20 years, the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery (NHSVC) has been dedicated to providing a dignified resting place for our nation’s heroes. We serve as a permanent expression of the State’s gratitude, offering a sanctuary of peace and natural beauty for over 12,000 veterans and their families. Today, the cemetery stands as a profound source of pride for the families of the interred and all residents of New Hampshire.

The NH Veterans Cemetery Association

As a voluntary non-profit organization, the NHVCA works in direct partnership with the cemetery leadership to honor this sacred ground. We fulfill our mission through three core pillars:

• Operational Support: We collaborate closely with the NHSVC Director and staff to fund vital operations and infrastructure improvements.

• Public Awareness: We foster a deep appreciation for the value of military service through community outreach, commemorative publications, ceremonial events, and the Veterans Heritage Learning Center.

• Stewardship: We responsibly accept, manage, and deploy resources and funding to ensure the cemetery remains a world-class facility.
