Friends -- In a year of extreme transitions, we strive for H.O.P.E.

In 2025, we are indeed filled with deep belief in the future of our clients and our sustainable nonprofit.

Your ongoing support, as friends, volunteers, partners, and donors, has made HOPE possible, despite the challenges that surround us.

H.O.P.E. (Housing/Operations/Poverty Mitigation/Economic Stabilization) is the acronym for the Way Station's strategic plan to grow how we serve our homeless and housing-insecure neighbors

throughout the Mount Washington Valley.  Our first commitment is to reach the people who need us most.  We do so by meeting essential needs and working toward more sustainable interventions.

You can help us during NH Gives by supporting the work we do, making a stronger impact for our neighbors, and together we can grow and envision long-range housing options that will develop into significant help for the homeless community in Carroll County.

Thank you!

Who We Are

The purpose of the Way Station is to serve and support the vulnerable populations of the Mt. Washington Valley area, including those experiencing homelessness, housing-insecurity, poverty, or other needs. We opened in May of 2019, and through the end of that year we served 91 unique individuals during their 265 visits. From October -December 2020 Our volunteers have provided 158 laundry cards, 94 gas cards, 9 phones and 38 phone cards and 68 households were provided shelf stable food. 432 client contacts were made in those few months.
