For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of fostering and volunteering with Pope Memorial Humane Society. I’ve seen firsthand the incredible care and dedication this shelter gives to dogs, cats, and small animals like rabbits, birds, ferrets, rats, mice, and more — animals who often have nowhere else to go.

Recently, the shelter suffered a devastating fire and lost a significant amount of their supplies. The animals still need care, and the staff and volunteers are still showing up every day — but they’re doing it with so much less than before.
