As Secretary of Keene Housing Kids Collaborative and an employee of Keene Housing, I have the privilege of seeing firsthand what happens when a community comes together to support children and families.

Keene Housing Kids Collaborative exists to make sure that children living in affordable housing have opportunities to learn, grow, create, and simply be kids. Through enrichment activities, mentoring, educational support, community events, gardens, wellness programs, and safe spaces to connect, we help build confidence, friendships, and brighter futures.

For many families, affordable housing is only the first step toward stability. Children also need encouragement, experiences, and caring adults who believe in them. That’s where the Kids Collaborative comes in.

Every donation made through NH Gives helps provide meaningful opportunities for local children and families — whether it’s supplies for afterschool programs, hands-on learning experiences, community celebrations, transportation for activities, or support for programs that help kids thrive socially and emotionally.
