NH Gives - Erik's Freedom Cafe Fundraiser

The cafe is such an integral part of my family. We eat there, we meet there, we sing and play there, and we volunteer. For me it is the center of our community but beyond that, the mission of the cafe is critical across the planet. We raise awareness for human trafficking, we train groups to spot the signs of trafficked victims, and as part of that prevention goal we inform people of the importance of knowing the origin of your food, coffee, tea, and the goods we buy. That is why I am supporting the cafe and I hope you do too!

What began as a small student-led vision in Durham has grown into a vibrant nonprofit café and collaborative space where people gather to learn, connect, and take meaningful action toward a more just world.
