$2,500 goal

I have been involved at MAXT since 2017, as the volunteer woodshop coordinator, Repair Cafe fixer, and more recently as chair of the board. I strongly believe MAXT’s community workshops and classes provide a needed environment for creativity and learning to people of all ages.

Please consider a donation of any amount.

MAXT serves the Monadnock Region with its mission to foster innovation and inspiration in a vibrant, inclusive, and collaborative environment, with shared resources, training, education, and mentorship.

MAXT's programming includes:

-- Gathering points for people to share resources and knowledge, work on projects, network, and build businesses, including a Ceramics Center in Dublin, and a 7000 square foot makerspace in Peterborough that contains shops for textiles, electronics, 3D printing, laser cutting, glass, printmaking, woodworking, jewelry and welding/metalworking.

-- Community wide events like the Peterborough Night Market, Holiday Market, gallery shows and more, attracting more than 5000 people a year.

-- Youth programming for over 100 local students a year, building their confidence and skills in the wide variety of making we offer.

-- Hundreds of adult programs a year, providing opportunities to learn, gather, share and work together on joint projects.

-- Repair Cafe, the donor supported service  that has helped save broken things from the landfill for 10 years!

Providing such a rich tapestry of activities requires the support of the community - and NH Gives is its biggest fundraiser of the year.  Please consider helping MAXT in its annual goal and allow it to continue its work over the next year!
