Help Fund Teaching Science Through Art!

Hey friends, 

I don't often talk about my job, but I'm the video editor over here at Unchartered. I've been with them since 2020, and it's allowed me to see a lot of the behind-the-scenes of all the work they've been doing to help under-served communities around New Hampshire. As someone who often needed more visual and hands-on experience in order to learn in school, it fills me with great pride to work for a non-profit that's doing just that for kids who might not otherwise get the chance. 

People like you are the only reason Unchartered has been able to make art and science education accessible to students who often fall between the cracks in our educational system. It's with donations like yours that allow us to get in classrooms and send a clear message to our students; that they belong. That they are smart enough for the material, and not only that, but they can even have fun doing it. I was blessed with a mom and grandfather who loved to share their science knowledge with me in fun and engaging ways, which lead me to really appreciate science in my adult life, but a lot of kids don't have opportunities like that. Unchartered aims to do exactly that; showing kids that science can be exciting and fascinating.

This year, Unchartered is fundraising for NH Gives from June 9th-10th. NH Gives is a fundraising initiative created by the NH Center for Nonprofits, giving us a chance to be seen on a wider scale, connect with new supporters, and to spread our mission with new and old friends. 

Our goal this year is to raise $5,000. These funds will go directly towards: hands-on science materials, real experiments in the classrooms, and programs delivered to students who wouldn't otherwise have access. 

Translation: your donation turns into actual experiments in actual classrooms.

Not someday.
