Lesley's Fundraiser

As we embark on our 23rd season and I am excited about the future but also incredibly proud of what we've accomplished in all the seasons that came before.

The community of artists who have called the Playhouse home - whether it's someone who came for a summer or those who live here and consider this their artistic outlet - are a constant source of pride. Of course there are the performers who got their start here at the Playhouse and are now performing on Broadway. But equally there are those who are having fulfilling, fruitful careers in completely other industries. Those who are raising wonderfully artsy kids, or are teaching the next generation of theatre kids. We have two recent graduates of the Education Department who are currently on the creative team for Come From Away, holding their own with other members of the team who have done this for 30+ years.

I thank everyone who played their part in making this a special place. And that includes those whose financial contributions help keep the doors open when so many theatres across the country are strugging. It's not easy, the but community that rallies around this place have always shown up for us and for that I'm deeply grateful.
