Every Young Adult Deserves a Place to Land
Imagine turning 18 and suddenly being expected to navigate adulthood alone.
For many young adults aging out of foster care and unstable living situations, that is exactly what happens. They face challenges finding safe housing, securing employment, continuing their education, and learning everyday skills needed to live independently.
At On Solid Ground, we believe every young person deserves more than just a roof over their head; they deserve guidance, encouragement, and a community that believes in them.
We are working to raise money to build a supportive independent living home where young adults can gain stability, learn life skills, pursue education and employment, and build a foundation for their future.
This mission is deeply personal. Our founders have spent many years working with at-risk youth, fostering teens, and witnessing firsthand the challenges young people face when they have nowhere to turn. We have also seen what is possible when a young person is given support, structure, and positive encouragement.
