The River Center isn't just where I work. It's where I get to live out what I believe every day: that no one should have to navigate life's challenges alone.

As a parent, caregiver, advocate, and occasional detective of hard-to-find resources, I know how overwhelming it can feel when you're searching for answers. I've sat at the kitchen table surrounded by paperwork, wondering what comes next and wishing someone could just point me in the right direction.

That's what I love about The River Center.

Every day, I get to help people find resources, connect caregivers with community, and create spaces where people feel like they belong. Because what I've learned is that most people aren't just looking for information. They're looking for connection.

What I love most about The River Center is that we don't just help people find resources. We help them find their village when they think they are standing alone.

Whether it's a caregiver who needs support, a family navigating disability, or a neurospicy young adult looking for a place to connect, I've seen how powerful it is when people find others who truly understand them. I've watched isolation turn into friendship and uncertainty turn into hope.
