Each year we spend several months planning the annual Festival day which takes place on the third Saturday in May! Although the day is FREE for all attendees, we fundraise thoughout the year to keep it that way.

We created a community event in the dark days of winter celebrating light and community. Each year we invite our neighbors to bundle up and come and light the night with us. Building up to the event, we work with elementary school students and community members to make hundreds of new lanterns and bring back previous year's lights as well. We provide lights to all the folks who join us at the parade free of charge thanks to our loyal donors!

As a 501(3) organization, the Children and the Arts Board is responsible for approving annual budgets, maintaining legal records, and implementing policies. We are thrilled to support such an important community event and hope to keep it strong into the future!
