Small gift. Big impact. Every $8 makes a difference.

In Coös County, caring for a young child can mean carrying a lot at once.

A parent may be worried about their child’s development. A caregiver may be seeking behavioral health support. A family may be driving long distances for services, waiting for answers, or simply trying to figure out where to turn next.

In a rural region where resources can be hard to reach and systems do not always connect smoothly, families can feel overwhelmed and alone.

The Coös Coalition for Young Children and Families exists so that families do not have to navigate those challenges alone.

We bring together schools, early childhood programs, health providers, family support organizations, and community leaders to build something every child deserves: a stronger, more connected system of care from birth through age 8.

Your $8 gift helps strengthen the relationships, tools, and partnerships that make early support possible.

Your donation helps support:

💚 Non-clinical behavioral health supports for young children, caregivers, and educators

💚 Developmental screening efforts so concerns can be identified earlier

💚 Family engagement and warm connections to local resources

💚 Smoother transitions into kindergarten and school-based supports

💚 Regional collaboration across child care, schools, Head Start, health care, family support, and community organizations

💚 Behind-the-scenes coordination that helps families experience less confusion and more trust

Why $8?

Because the first 8 years matter.

Because small gifts can create real momentum.

Because when many people give a little, we can do a lot together.

Give $8 today — or give $16, $24, $80, or any multiple of $8.

Strong starts. Bright futures. Together.
