For more than 18 years, Red River Theatres has been a cornerstone of our community — a place to experience extraordinary films, engage in meaningful conversations, and connect with fellow film lovers. Every time you join us for a film, you help create magic: not just on our screens, but in the shared moments that bring neighbors together, spark conversation, and celebrate the joy of storytelling. Ticket sales only cover a portion of our annual operating costs. To keep offering the rich and diverse programming that we do, we rely on community members like you. Contributions like yours help fill the gap between ticket sales and our annual operating budget and keep independent cinema thriving in Concord.

Located in the heart of downtown Concord, Red River Theatres is the region's only nonprofit, independent cinema — a community gathering space and home for independent film, 365 days a year.

Red River Theatres believes in the transformative power of film and storytelling to foster connections, deepen understanding, and strengthen community. As your nonprofit, independent cinema, Red River's mission is to provide high-quality programming that brings the community together to engage, grow, and connect through film: from newly-released films and beloved classics to special series, film festivals, family features, educational programs, panel discussions, and more.
