SSC promotes coastal conservation through meaningful, place-based experiences that foster wonder, enhance understanding, and empower people to safeguard our natural world. As a gateway to New Hampshire’s coastline, we connect everyone to the beauty, science, and stories of Odiorne Point State Park and the Gulf of Maine.

With engaging exhibits, guided explorations, and place-based interpretations, we cultivate curiosity, inspire stewardship, and encourage responsible recreation—laying the groundwork for a deeper public understanding and a more resilient coastal future. At SSC, we are dedicated to inclusivity and accessibility, believing that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the beauty and educational offerings available in the park. We are proud of our partnerships with organizations like KultureCity and Northeast Passages, and we are thrilled to introduce an all-terrain wheelchair for members and guests (new for 2026).
