Housing, Land & Environmental Justice Fund

Everyone deserves a safe, stable, and affordable place to call home.

The Housing, Land & Environmental Justice Fund supports BWINH Collective's efforts to address housing instability, advocate for equitable access to housing and resources, and build toward community-owned solutions that increase long-term stability and self-determination.

Across New Hampshire, Black people are disproportionately impacted by rising housing costs, housing discrimination, displacement, environmental inequities, and barriers to land ownership. These challenges affect individuals, families, and future generations while limiting opportunities to build lasting community wealth and stability.

This fund supports initiatives such as the Call It Home Coalition, housing justice advocacy, environmental justice efforts, land access initiatives, community education, research, and the development of future cooperative housing and land-based models.

Through this work, we are helping community members better understand housing systems, connect with resources, advocate for change, and imagine new approaches rooted in cooperation, collective ownership, and community stewardship.
