The reward for climbing Oak Hill and its fire tower in Concord is a 360 degree view of the Capital region. Forests, dotted by farms, stretch as far as the eye can see. It’s one of the reasons I love living in Webster - I’m so close to hiking trails, I can buy our milk locally at Bohanan Farm and kayak nearby ponds and rivers. And all of this is within minutes of the Capitol!
Keeping land open and productive doesn’t happen by accident. Five Rivers Conservation Trust is our local land trust, permanently protecting natural beauty and treasured resources for all of us.
Please join me during Giving New Hampshire to support this great organization that supports our way of life.
About Five Rivers Conservation Trust
The farms, forests, and waterways of the Capital Region of New Hampshire are more than scenery, they are the source of our food, our clean water, our trails, and our sense of home. Five Rivers Conservation Trust works with landowners, towns, and neighbors to protect these essential places forever. We ensure that the land that sustains us today will sustain future generations tomorrow.
