Hello Friends,

I hope you are doing well. Many of you know how much animals have always meant to me. Since childhood, rescue animals have been part of my life. My first was Willy—the $2 dog! Since then, I've shared my home with many beloved cats, some were feral rescues, our wonderful pit bull Dexter, and now Riley, our Alabama rescue terrier who has found his forever home in New Hampshire.

I am reaching out with a simple request. During New Hampshire Gives, a 24-hour online fundraising event running from 5:00 p.m. EDT on June 9 through 5:00 p.m. EDT on June 10, I am hoping you will consider making a $5 donation to NicaLove, an organization I have had the privilege of volunteering with since January.

NicaLove is a small nonprofit that brings lifesaving veterinary care to animals in rural Nicaragua. Through mobile clinics and partnerships with regional veterinarians, NicaLove provides vaccinations, spay and neuter surgeries, wound treatments, dental care, hoof care, and educational programs that improve the lives of dogs, cats, working horses, donkeys, mules, and the families who depend on them.

This year, NicaLove has an opportunity to win $5,000 in bonus prize money by engaging the largest number of new donors during New Hampshire Gives. Last year, NicaLove won this challenge, and we'd love to do it again. Every $5 donation can make a difference!!

Here's where you can help:

• A donation of just $5 counts as a new donor if it comes from a unique email address and a unique payment method.

For example:
• You donate $5 using your email and payment method.
• Your spouse or partner donates $5 using a different email and payment method.

Some supporters have even involved adult children and family members who have their own email addresses and payment methods. Every donor counts toward helping NicaLove earn this important bonus funding.

In addition, NicaLove has already received $25,000 in matching funds, that means any money you give will be matched dollar-for-dollar.

Of course, you may give more, but a $5 donation is all I'm asking.
