The goal of Friends in Action is to have people who might otherwise be very isolated have real, meaningful friendships, places to go, things to do and people to meet. To have something and someone to look forward to.

As you may know, my sister, Kelsey, is a participant with Friends in Action, and I am a proud board member of this remarkable organization. We would greatly appreciate your support and your impact on the local community!

Thanks to Friends in Action, my sister has had the opportunity to make life-long friends, and experience a vibrant life as a young adult. Her social life has grown exponentially all thanks to this incredible program. My sister Kelsey is able to be active, social, outgoing, happy, and competitive. She plays sports, goes to birthday parties, and meets new people while being exposed to enriching experiences. Some of Kelsey's favorite in-person programs with Friends in Action are: bowling night, movie night and Friday night socials. I mean... have you seen her dance moves to Low by Flo Rida? Kelsey's favorite activity is basketball. She looks forward to playing basketball every week. Kelsey has flourished while being a part of Friends programming.

I never thought my sister's social life would be as special as it is thanks to Friends in Action. As a proud board member, sister of a participant, and community member - I support this organization’s mission and I want it to have a greater impact on the community. Please consider donating.
