Friends in Action

 

Imagine after you graduate high school you don’t have anyone you consider a friend. Nobody to hang out with, go to a movie, go bowling with or just simply connect with. You see your siblings going to college, dating, getting married and having families of their own but nothing like this is happening for you. Soon there almost doesn’t seem to be a reason to get out of bed in the morning.

Then, you hear about a nonprofit called Friends in Action. All of a sudden there are Friday night socials to attend where you meet and make new friends. You start going bowling, playing basketball, going out to dinner or a movie and even attend a day program at the University of New Hampshire where you participate in a Theater Group and attend classes. Your life has purpose and meaning once again and you have so much to look forward to.

Friendships.  Places to go.  People to meet.  Things to do.  That is what Friends in Action is all about.
