Juneteenth New England is a free annual celebration of Black American history, culture, resilience, and community. Each year, we bring together Black people and allies from across New Hampshire and New England for a day of connection, education, joy, and cultural celebration.
The event features live performances, cultural demonstrations, educational exhibits, community vendors, activities for children and families, food, storytelling, games, and opportunities to learn about the diverse experiences and contributions of Black people throughout New England and beyond.
Your support helps cover the many costs associated with making this event free and accessible to the community, including venue expenses, food and beverages, performer honorariums, supplies, equipment rentals, educational materials, activities for children and families, accessibility accommodations, volunteer support, and event logistics.
At a time when many Black people in New Hampshire continue to experience isolation and limited opportunities to gather in culturally affirming spaces, Juneteenth New England creates a place where our stories, traditions, and communities can be celebrated openly and unapologetically.
Together, we're creating a space where people can learn, connect, celebrate, and experience the richness and diversity of Black culture.
Every contribution helps keep Juneteenth New England free and accessible to the community.
