Friends in Action is the best group that I have ever been a part of. For those of you who may not know, FIA provides social and recreational programs for people with disabilities. We are out and about in the community doing activities that everyone likes to do-things like going to the movies, bowling, making art, theater, dancing, hanging with friends and much more. FIA provides a safe and welcoming place for individuals who might otherwise live a very isolated life. Over the last 13 years, I have had the privilege of meeting some of the greatest and kindest people.
