Protect local farms, forests, clean water, trails, and wildlife for future generations.

$5,000 goal

When I first got involved with Five Rivers in 2019, even after having lived in Concord for nearly 15 years, I was surprised to learn that many of the places that were special to our family had a Five Rivers connection - like Carter Hill Orchard, a favorite spot that we return to each and every fall. (The apple pickers featured above are now 14 and 17 years old.)

The more I learned, first as a board member and then as Executive Director, the more I appreciated what this organization brings to our region. I can't imagine Hopkinton without Bohanan Farm, or Concord without Carter Hill or Marjory Swope Park, or Warner without Blue Moon Berry Farm. These lands are permanently protected because local families, landowners, volunteers, and partners care deeply about the future of this place.

Please join me in making a gift today to protect more places that feed, inspire and sustain us.

With gratitude,

Liz Short

About Five Rivers Conservation Trust

The farms, forests, and waterways of the Capital Region of New Hampshire are more than scenery, they are the source of our food, our clean water, our trails, and our sense of home. Five Rivers Conservation Trust works with landowners, towns, and neighbors to protect these essential places forever. We ensure that the land that sustains us today will sustain future generations tomorrow.
