Hello! I'm Sean Robinson, Executive Artistic Director at New Hampshire Theatre Project, and I'm so excited to once again participate in NH Gives to raise funds for NHTP.

Last year's campaign was incredibly successful as a direct result of the generosity and enthusiasm this community showed for our organization.  And what followed, I could only describe as a banner year for New Hampshire Theatre Project.  2025-2026 saw progress and growth in so many aspects of the work that we do, and it was my favorite year yet as part of NHTP.

I'm so proud of our MainStage Season this past year.  We presented three exceptional productions that exemplified our standard of quality theatre that we take very seriously, and it was a joy to have so much overwhelmingly positive feedback from audiences this season.  We also premiered our new series, Play Readings For Grown-Ups, that was a wonderful success - and a chance to show appreciation for some incredible works and showcase them in a new way.  I was also so pleased to begin regularly presenting programs from our Elephant-in-the-Room Series® in our space, which allowed us additional opportunities to share these powerful pieces and invite new conversations with our audiences.

The EITRS® program itself grew and  thrived this past year, with our Aftermath: PTS in First Responders program touring statewide, our Time Before Goodbye: Navigating Eldercare program premiering with its first tour dates in multiple communities throughout NH, and the Our Kids Are Not Alright: Youth Mental Health program presenting its first public performances, film screenings, and panel discussions.   The Elephant-in-the-Room Series® was more active and more relevant than ever this year, and we look forward to continue growing this award-winning program.

Meanwhile, our Theatre For Life program saw major strides this past year, as NHTP brought our wide variety of professional development workshops to new communities, clients, and organizations throughout the state.  And we furthered existing partnerships, while cultivating new partner organizations to help deliver our mission of Applied Theatre to benefit people all across New Hampshire.

Our calendar has been busier than ever since last year, as NHTP has delivered on its mission to bring the craft of theatre, film and the performing arts out into the community- and to spark conversation around important topics, connect people who otherwise might not know each other, and build communities that feel welcoming and nurturing.

But, we couldn't have done it without your generosity and support during last year's NH Gives. And so, once again, I ask you for your help this year.  This is our most important fundraiser of the year, and your donations will help make our work possible over the next 12 months.  For everyone who supported us last year, I really feel our work lived up to the belief you showed in NHTP, and so I can promise make this promise to everyone who supports us this year:  We will continue to do the important work, to inspire and connect and open dialogue, to bring the best of the arts to our community while delivering our outreach programs throughout New Hampshire, to grow the reach of our mission, and to exceed all expectations.

Thank you!

Sean Robinson
