🐾💙 WHY IS AWARE NH OPENING AN AFFORDABLE URGENT CARE & HUMANE EUTHASIA CENTER? 💙🐾

People have been asking why AWARE NH is taking on such a large project. The answer is simple:

Because every week, we receive calls from pet owners who have nowhere else to turn.

We hear from families whose pets are sick or injured but who cannot afford the high cost of veterinary care. We hear from seniors on fixed incomes, families facing unexpected hardships, and loving pet owners forced to make heartbreaking decisions because treatment is simply out of reach.

At AWARE NH, we believe a family's income should not determine whether a pet receives medical care. Pets are family, and every pet deserves access to compassionate veterinary care.

That is why AWARE NH is opening a new Affordable Urgent Care & Humane Euthanasia Center in Manchester - January 2027.

While the center is being created to provide affordable options for pet owners, it will be open to everyone. Whether you are struggling financially, living on a fixed income, or simply looking for a more affordable veterinary option, you and your pet will be welcome.

The nonprofit clinic will provide lower-cost urgent medical services and compassionate end-of-life care, helping families get the care their pets need without facing impossible financial decisions.

Our goal is not to replace primary care veterinarians or emergency hospitals. Our goal is to fill a gap and provide another option for pet owners when urgent care is needed.

The new center will help keep pets with the families who love them, reduce economic euthanasia, and prevent pets from being surrendered simply because veterinary care has become unaffordable.

At the same time, our Hooksett location will continue operating as AWARE NH's affordable spay/neuter and preventive care center, helping prevent medical issues before they become emergencies.

This project is about making veterinary care more accessible, more affordable, and more compassionate for all pet owners and their beloved pets.

And thanks to the incredible support of our community, that vision is becoming a reality. 💙🐾
