For many adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, the question isn’t “Where do I want to live?” but 

“Will I ever have a place to call my own?”

At Our Place NH, we are working to ensure the answer is YES. We have purchased a former daycare center in Dover and are preparing to renovate the building and add four new units to create affordable supportive housing for 11 adults with developmental disabilities.

Each tenant will have their own apartment with a bedroom, living area, bathroom, and kitchenette, along with access to shared community spaces for meals, activities, and connection. The location offers access to public transportation, downtown Dover, and community resources.

Residents will receive individualized support based on person-centered plans, including assistance with daily living skills, medication management, transportation, and recreational opportunities. Staff will be available 24/7 to provide support while encouraging independence and dignity.

Every gift brings us closer to making this vision a reality—creating a safe, supportive community where adults with developmental disabilities can live independently and proudly call Our Place NH home.
