Gibson Center for Senior Services

The Gibson Center for Senior Services is a community-based nonprofit serving older adults throughout northern Carroll County and surrounding communities in New Hampshire and western Maine. Our mission is to support the independence, health, dignity, and well-being of older adults through programs that reduce isolation and strengthen community connections.We serve a community lunch five days per week. 

We provide a wide range of essential services including Meals on Wheels and community dining, transportation to medical appointments and errands, health and wellness activities, educational and social programs, caregiver support, and information and referral services. These programs help older adults remain safe, active, and engaged while continuing to live independently.

The Gibson Center also serves as an important gathering place where seniors build friendships, access resources, and stay connected to their community. Our transportation and nutrition programs are especially critical for older adults facing mobility, financial, or social challenges.

In addition, the Gibson Center operates a thrift store that supports our mission while providing affordable goods to the community. Partnerships with local organizations, volunteers, businesses, and healthcare providers help expand our impact and meet growing community needs.

For decades, the Gibson Center has been a trusted resource dedicated to ensuring that older adults can age with dignity, connection, and support.
