The Winnipesaukee Playhouse was founded in 2004 with the vision of bringing quality arts and arts education to New Hampshire's Lakes Region and beyond. Now in its 22nd Season, the Playhouse has become a cultural gem in the area and an important destination for professional, community, and educational theatre.
Believing that engagement in the arts is an essential public good that has the ability to inspire, engage, and educate us like nothing else can, the Winnipesaukee Playhouse dedicates itself to providing a platform for evocative theatrical storytelling, community conversation, and education that fosters empathy and emphasizes lifelong learning.
Matches and Challenges During NH Gives!
DAY 1: Steinwachs' Match
Playhouse Supporters Paul and Sharon Steinwachs have generously agreed to match the first $7,000 raised on the first day of NH Gives dollar-for-dollar. A $100 donation will mean $200 received by the Winnipesaukee Playhouse!
These matching funds are available from 5:00PM to 11:59PM on June 10th ONLY!
DAY 1: Chris Slater Capping Challenge
Board Member and Playhouse supporter Chris Slater has generously issued a challenge:
If we raise at least $7,000 on Day 1 and fully unlock our matching funds, Chris will contribute an additional $1,000, bringing our Day 1 total to $15,000!
DAY 2: Board of Trustees Match
The Winnipesaukee Playhouse Board of Trustees has generously agreed to match the first $7,000 raised on the second day of NH Gives dollar-for-dollar, doubling the impact of your gift!
These matching funds are available from 12:00AM to 5:00PM on June 11th ONLY!
DAY 2: Jim Hill Capping Challenge
Playhouse supporter Jim Hill has also stepped up with a generous offer:
If we raise $7,000 and unlock the full Board match on Day 2, Jim will contribute an additional $1,000, bringing our Day 2 total to $15,000, and reaching our Day 1 & 2 Goal of $30,000!
DAY 1 & 2: Anita Springer "Through the Roof" Challenge
We are thrilled to announce an exciting bonus challenge from longtime supporter Anita Springer:
If we fully unlock both Day 1 and Day 2 matches (raising $7,000 each day), Anita will contribute an additional $2,500, pushing us past our goal to a grand total to $32,500!
