  • A collaboration with the U.S. State Department training human and civil rights leaders from 5 Central African nations

Your NH Gives Donation will Help The Freedom Cafe:

  • Launch a new location in New Hampshire, multiplying the impact of Freedom Cafe programs!

  • Provide training and awareness events equipping community leaders to address trafficking within their organizations and professions

  • Expand outreach in the seacoast NH area by supporting staffing and resources for lectures and programs discussing human trafficking issues

  • Enable Freedom Cafe to mentor student fellows each semester who will carry their knowledge about how to address human trafficking into their career fields

  • Expand research on human trafficking in the supply chain

The Freedom Café is a non-profit café working to end human trafficking - by providing a space to engage the community in conscious consuming and ways to take personal and professional action toward a traffick-free world.

Human Trafficking targets society’s most vulnerable - particularly young women, children, LGBTQ and impoverished persons. Through force, fraud, or coercion, individuals must perform grueling labor or commercial sex acts with little hope of escape.

Trafficking exists in all 50 United States, and all 10 counties of New Hampshire. The critical work of supporting law enforcement, funding specialized aftercare facilities, investigating and addressing supply chains with exploitative labor, and advocating for survivors cannot be done without basic awareness and community support to address this complex problem.

The Freedom Café is in a strategic position to bring awareness, resources and activism to the region. Through regional, state and national partnerships, including participation in the NH Human Trafficking Collaborative Task Force and the United Nations Global Initiative to Fight Human Trafficking (UN. GIFT), The Freedom Café facilitates connection, consciousness and collaboration to address human trafficking.
